It is time. It is time to spread some joy and con It is time. It is time to spread some joy and continue to raise our families with more love, more kindness and more connection. Every year when we run the Christmas competition, we really struggle to pick a winner. This year we had 3 prizes to offer and still, we struggled! We received 27 entries and we ended up offering 5 FREE places on our consultancy course, 2 FREE places on our Feeding and Carrying Advocacy course and 16 vouchers for 10% off any of our courses in 2021!!!! That is £5 short of £4000 worth of prizes!!! Today was a very sad day for all who believe that the UK was richer being part of Europe. Sending the emails to remind us that we can still bring love beyond borders has definitely cheered us up. May we all continue to love and connect, to bring small and big acts of joy, to raise a generation who is not afraid to be kind. Ho Ho Ho! It is this time of year again when we w Ho Ho Ho! It is this time of year again when we want to bring some joy to all. If you have followed us for over a year, then you will already know that we run a competition every December and that you can get a free place on one of our courses! This year is no exception and will be even bigger as we can already announce that we have 3 big prizes!!!! Some very generous Slingababy consultants have kindly sponsored one place on the consultancy course and one place on the feeding and carrying advocate course. There will also be many vouchers to help out as many of you as we can. So what do you need to do? We ask you to do 5 things: - 1 Fill in this form: https://slingababy.co.uk/slingababy-christmas-competition-2020/ - 2 Listen to the Mother Rucker podcast* episode 8 to answer two questions (that you will find on the aforementioned form) https://motherrucker.co.uk/podcast/ - 3 We believe in kindness creating ripples, so we ask you to do a Random Act Of Kindness. This can be anything! We won’t check, we trust you. Do something good and make others happy. - 4 Comment on this thread so we can get hold of you when the competition closes. You can say anything, from your name (or the name of your nominee... yes, you can nominate someone else!) to why you love carrying, from an ode to your family to a message of joy for all to enjoy, just put a word or a few. - 5 Repost this post on your feed with the audience setting set to public (you can always change it once the competition is over) When does it end? We will open entries until the 21st of December 11pm UK time. We will announce the winners between the 24th and the 31st of December. Our new lovely peer supporters described it as an ongoing hug ❤ Not only do we explore sling and carrying topics, we wrap them in loving acceptance.
