We are ever so proud to announce that the awesome We are ever so proud to announce that the awesome Nanny Kimbo from The Queer Doula has now completed their Slingababy training! They attended the 4 day course, gathered sufficient positive feedback from their customers and have launched a facebook group to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ people to talk about baby wearing, after it became clear that many parents within the LGBTQ+ community didn’t feel included in the babywearing community. This was particularly prevalent among transgender men and non-binary individuals. Many many congratulations ! Your dedication, passion and enthusiasm are making a real difference. We look forward to carrying on working with you. Keep doing what you do. The Peer Support course is packed full with gems. The Peer Support course is packed full with gems. Julia attended it in 2018 and has since attended our other two courses! We take it as a sign that the Slingababy experience keeps on giving. If you have an interest in general support, or if you want to gain some knowledge around carrying, or if you are trying to simplify how you bring complex information in a fast paced setting, then this course is for you. We do go through the 5 most common types of slings, debunk many of the myths around carrying and infants, simplify safety and baby positioning and much more... We are delighted to announce that Emilija from @ne We are delighted to announce that Emilija from @nesu_vaika has now completed her Slingababy training! This means that she attended the 4 day course, gathered sufficient positive feedback from her customers and completed a project to benefit the wider community. Her project was an article about baby-carrying aimed at Fathers and how it can help them bond with their babies. Many congratulations, your passion and dedication are making a real difference.
