Lucy at Oxford Sling Library

Oxford Sling Library has been running since 2008, making us the oldest continually running sling library in Britain. Fuelled by amazing volunteers over the years (in particular Guinevere Webster and Josie Hadjiev) it is now run by sling consultant Lucy Hawkins as a social enterprise.

I volunteered with Oxford Sling Library after my son was born in 2018, and went on to train as a peer supporter and then as full Sling Consultant. I took over the reins of Oxford Sling Library in August 2020. I really love helping people feel comfy and connected!
