My mind was blown! The course was a lot more analytical and critical thinking than I anticipated. It took me a couple of days to process, after finishing the course. 1000% worth it. Not only was I made to feel welcome, I was given the space to have my own 'penny drop' moments. All my needs were considered and nothing was an issue.

Loved the feeling of community and trust. How to create a community across oceans. Thankyou for connecting me to a whole world of people with one shared goal.

For me attending this course was the achievement of a dream (since my baby was born 4years ago and I strated babywering).

The Course is very well organized, there are no dead or impossible tasks.

Lorette is an excellent communicator, who knows a lot about babywearing but not only. The interconnection between the various themes of the daily life of a family with babies/children (for example: breastfeeding) is very important, as babywearing does not happen isolated in our lives.

The contents are very clear and accessible and the possibility of reviewing the videos and participating in future courses to refresh the information is simply very good in terms of monitoring and the possibility of evolution.

Even with the language barrier (sometimes I felt I didn't have enough vocabulary or didn't know how to express myself), it was clear from the start that there would be no judgments about it and the communication always flowed.

Brilliant course, delivered well in its online form with plenty of support. Was nice to have a small number in the 'class', making it feel more personal, and the tutorial videos were very well done.

I have attended the Peer Supporter, Consultancy and Feeding in Slings courses. It's not exaggerating to say these are life changing. Slingababy courses are about so much more than slings, it's a whole new way of thinking and understanding people and the world. I'd recommend them as an essential life skill as well as a huge confidence boost for carrying professionals looking to upskill.

The consultancy course was a great introduction to not just different carriers and types of carry, but also the Slingababy ethos of being person-centered and meeting people and their needs where they are. It really made me evaluate why I would like to be a consultant and was a great starting point for my babywearing and consultancy journey. Lorette's teaching style is very effective and I left feeling like I had a good overview of the field and a better understanding of where I want to focus in on. Highly recommend even if you're really new to babywearing!

The Course was brilliant, such a wide range of carriers and styles included. Lorette was great, very thorough, explained everything in great detail whilst giving time for any questions. I attended the course to expand my knowledge in other styles of carriers and other ways of carrying and I absolutely felt I did that. I would highly recommend this course.

Intense and inspiring! The course covers so much, and is really well structured, with a great mix of practical skills and theoretical learning and development.

Being able to take part via zoom made the course so much more accessible (no need to factor in travel time and costs, or accommodation) and easier to fit around family life. It enabled attendees from across the world, which really enriched the learning experience. It also helped knowing that the video tutorials would be available to go back to, so that you didn’t need to worry about trying to remember or make notes on every detail.

The slingababy baby wearing consultant course is a intense and wonderful learning experience. Based on a growth mindset Lorette is providing a very good training to develop not only as a constultant but also as a person. Contentwise the course covers a really wide range of knowledge. It's hard to explain the slingababy course, all I would say is that every babywearing education enthusiast should get on it , you will love it

A brilliant consultant training course that surpassed my expectations (I'd already read the wonderful reviews!). It is the most-comprehensive of the 3 consultant trainings I've done so far - in terms of the sling styles covered, attention to details which make learning & teaching others easier, and the physical and emotional aspects of baby carrying, teaching, learning and parent support. The course encouraged us to think in different ways that were more open-minded.

Lorette created an atmosphere of compassion and knowledge-seeking which made mistake-making and learning easier. There was challenge, and laughter. There was delicious food. And the welcoming group of colleagues for discussion afterwards is fantastic too.

The Slingababy consultant training course is the best training course i have ever been on. Not only does it provide fantastic training to prepare you for consulting, it makes you rethink what you have learned before and how you can support parents in the most effective way. This course has enhanced every part of all the work I do with parents and enhanced my life. I literally could not recommend anything more highly.

This literally changed my life. I had done other training but didn't feel confident in my abilities to show others. This gave me confidence and food for thought about how i dealt with things not just professionally but also in life.

I just completed the four day course. The training is well thought through, I feel like I have lots of new tools for teaching, troubleshooting and solutions to offer. The course offered a way of reasoning when it comes to carrying children. Plus it was loads of fun.

I took the course with Lorette last year, having trained with another school some years back and been working as a consultant. The Slingababy consultancy course -  an awesome experience!

Though I was familiar with other methods, I gained superb technical skills. I found Laurete's techniques simple and elegant. She revolutionised my ruck and her version of the buckle hip scoop is nothing short of ingenious.

I felt that the real added value of her approach lies in how to become a better consultant (and person) through empathy. In knowing how to support and empower parents. This part of the course alone was invaluable, and has transformed the consults I've done since.

Last but not least, Lorette is such a charming, positive and inspiring person - I have enjoyed every minute of our time together.

I completed the course feeling embraced and welcomed into a community of knowledgeable and supportive sling consultants, who help each other along the way. There are also CPD days and even a summer family camp. I am so excited and very proud!

I finally attended a Slingababy consultant course last year.  It was all I imagined it would be and more.  Lorette reminded me of everything I do know and how to increase my knowledge.  I love the idea and reality of thinking around an issue and finding ways to make the sling experience safe and as good as it can be for the person carrying and the infant being carried.

The course with Slingababy has given me great knowledge. It's like a bank of knowledge ready to unfold itself whenever I need to take a new step in my development as a carrying consultant.

This is of course because you can return and redo the course, but also because there's a lot of layers to what is being teached. And furthermore the network given from other Slingababy consultants is always inspiring.

Even though distance makes it difficult for me to join CPD's I always feel informed about the newest research and experiences. Taking the course has also given me access to other courses of education too.

To become a better teacher you must work with yourself and have a safe space to do so. Even though Slingababy is 'only' a course of 4 days the lesson goes beyond and Lorette and the network she has created gives room to blossom in.

I'm not a native english speaker but have not felt this being a problem. Lorette is a much caring teacher and I'm impressed by how she adapts and controls her teachingstyle to fit anyone who is willing to learn.

I attended the Slingababy consultants course last week and came away feeling so inspired and wanting to do more with all of the knowledge that Lorette imparted on us. and it was A LOT! you can see her passion for the skill and for supporting parents and it's impossible not to absorb that passion and want to run out and share it with everyone else. I recommend doing at least one of her courses, you'll come away glad that you did and amazed at all the information that you didn't know you didn't know.

I can't recommend the Slingababy course highly enough for those wishing to deepen their understanding of many aspects of carrying consultancy. I had completed two other consultancy courses prior to Slingababy and I felt that Lorette helped me widen my view - a liberating experience! I feel much more empowered to work with families now and empower them in turn. The Slingababy course is the third carrying consultant course that I have done. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn more about supporting people in their carrying journey.

Studying with Slingababy was an amazing experience and then there's all the online support afterwards from the Slingababy consultants and twice annual meet ups. The course itself is thorough, fascinating, fun and full of revelations.

The Slingababy method of teaching is wonderful in that Lorette & Jody have a great deal of knowledge/experience, their methods of delivering information are clear, visual and are in followable/teachable steps. I appreciated the way that we are taught different methods for using each type of sling so that we have options to tailor demo's to a persons ability or situation.

What really struck me about Lorette is that she has a unique way of speaking: with incredible directness and kindness combined. It is a wonderful skill and very few people that I know have this quality to this level.

I had a fantastic time on the Slingababy course. I had high expectations of it and it truly exceeded them.The content is rich, varied and inspiring. It covers everything you are likely to want to know as a trainee, and offers lots for practicing consultants also. I've said it enough times already, but this course could easily be double the length of time - you have so much to offer, and being in a room with other babywearers inspires interesting discussion. I've come away inspired to head in the direction I've been planning for a while, and that's down to the extra confidence I've gained from training with you. This course is worth every penny, for those starting out and practicing alike.

This was a superb course. Lorette is hugely experienced and an excellent teacher. There was plenty of time for practice and questions. She was very clear, very patient, and very good at describing and demonstrating. She really encouraged us to think for ourselves and come up with our own solutions, rather than just spoon-feeding us. She is obviously keen to give her trainees a real toolbox of skills to start their consultancies off well and to be of use to people as soon as possible. I certainly left feeling much better equipped than I came, and in fact far more aware of what I don't know!

I went on the Slingababy course expecting to learn more about carrying. I found parts of the course very intense, but came away so inspired and much more confident about teaching others to carry their children. Lorette is a calm and patient teacher, with a straightforward manner and a very clear way of explaining things. I've done a lot of courses in my career. This was definitely one of the best courses I've attended. Great balance between theory and practice. Lorette is extremely knowledgeable and gave us all a first hand example of how practical babywearing is. There is no way you could single-handedly teach a four day course with a cute baby in tow unless you were babywearing and breastfeeding!

I was an experienced wrapper when the slingababy consultancy course. My goal was to improve my wrapping technique and develop my ability to help others with carries. I achieved this and much more, my confidence skyrocketed and many people have benefited from my newfound teaching skills. I really loved this course! Having already done Consultancy training 2.5 years ago, and been working extensively as a Consultant since then, I wasn't really sure what to expect from doing additional training, or how much new information there would be. I learnt a massive amount on the course and also had a really fun and enjoyable 4 days. I just wish I'd done it when my two children were little enough to still be carried, so I could have tried everything out on them. Thanks Lorette - it was fab!

The Slingababy course really opened my eyes. Lorette's teaching methods are brilliant and she really encourages you to forget what you already know and start thinking outside the box (or remove the box altogether). The 4 day course is very intense but I'd loved it! And the free CPD weekends every 6 months make it so worthwhile. The education of babywearing is continuous, and these free top-up weekends mean you are always kept up to date with the latest information. Lorette has also made available a dedicated facebook group for Slingababy Consultants. This allows us to discuss things in detail with Lorette and those who have taken the course. It really is like a family and I feel so privileged to be a part of it. I whole-heartedly recommend Slingababy. Whether you want to be a Babywearing Consultant, or just increase your knowledge. I cannot imagine a teaching school which offers more in the way of personal training and continuing training and support. Worth every penny.
